A short opera written for Bariton, Tenor, Alto (or Soprano) and Chamber Orchestra. Libretto by Ty Defoe about the life of African American artist Benny Andrews and his experience meeting a native inmate while teaching art at the Hudson Correctional Facility in New York.
 
This work looks at genocide, history and racial issues in the United States.
